Visitors who venture onto or too close to North Sentinel Island risk being attacked by members of the mysterious tribe who prefer to have zero contact with the outside world.

The tribe killed two men in 2006 who were fishing too close to their island, and have been known to fire arrows and fling rocks at low-flying planes or helicopters on reconnaissance missions.

Located in the Bay of Bengal, North Sentinel Island belongs to India and remains an enigma, despite being populated for an estimated 60,000 years.

Untouched by modern civilization, very little is known about the Sentinelese people, their language, their rituals and the island they call home.

It is too dangerous to approach them due to their hostility to outsiders, meaning they are rarely photographed up close and almost never seen on video. Most of the photos and video clips that do exist are of poor quality.

So if you ever hire a pedalo and go in search for untouched islands, best to avoid this one, these guys don’t take kindly to outsiders.

Inside Yamini’s brain, the surgeons found what seems to be her “evil twin sister”. Also known as teratoma, the tumor resembled a fetus and even had teeth, bones, hair.

Most teratomas contain teeth, bones, and hair but in some cases, these tumors have eyes, hands, feet, limbs, or torso.

For Yamini, it appeared that her “evil twin” has been tormenting her for the past 26 years.

Fish Poured Like Rain In Thailand-''Apocalypse Is Near''

Photographs show the streets of Thailand after a heavy rain deposited fish on them.

In April 2015, a series of photographs showing hundreds of dead fish on a street in China began circulating the Internet. Although the pictures were initially shared along with a news report involving a fish truck accident, subsequent reports claimed that the scene depicted in the images was the result of a heavy fish rain. 

Some media outlets tried to give a scientific explanation for the fish rain, claiming that "Monsoon winds lifted the fish from the river and the Indian and Pacific ocean," while others used the photos to prove that the apocalypse was near: 

This story may sound like it was created by one of the many online satirical publications, but two of the first web sites to share the "Raining Fish" story — Spy Ghana and SA Breaking News — claim that they only aggregate real news stories. Although this confusion may have not resulted from a deliberate attempt to fool the Internet, something was clearly lost in translation.

Man, 66, goes to Doctor and finds he is a Woman

A 66-year-old apparently male patient made a stunning discovery when he sought treatment for swelling in his abdomen. The swelling was a cyst on his ovary and he was in fact a woman.

The condition was caused by a very rare combination of two genetic disorders. One, Turner syndrome, causes women to lack some female features, including the ability to get pregnant.

Sufferers usually look like women, but in this case the patient also had congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH), which boosted the male hormones and made the patient look like a man.

The case was reported by doctors from Kwong Wah Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital, who treated the patient. It was published in the Hong Kong Medical Journal yesterday.

"The patient, by definition, is a woman who cannot get pregnant. But she also has CAH, which gave her the appearance of a man," Chinese University paediatrics professor Ellis Hon Kam-lun said. "It's an interesting and very rare case of having the two combinations. It probably won't be seen again in the near future."

The 66-year-old Vietnam-born Chinese man is an orphan. He has a beard, small penis and no testes. Just 1.37 metres tall, he has decided to continue perceiving himself as a male and may receive male hormone treatment, the report said.

When pressed, he disclosed a long history of urinary leakage and arrest of growth after puberty at the age of 10.

Only six cases of a patient with both conditions have been reported in medical literature. This patient was diagnosed later in life than any of the others.

Turner's syndrome has an estimated prevalence of one in 2,500 to 3,000 females.

Normal females have a pair of X chromosomes, while males have one X and one Y.

Turner syndrome patients have only one X. They usually had the appearance of girls and the condition was identified when they reached puberty and did not menstruate, Hon said.

Private gynaecologist Dr Kun Ka-yan said Turner syndrome was rarer now as most sufferers were identified in prenatal tests. Women would usually choose an abortion as the disease can bring other health problems, including mental disability.

Archaeologists in Spain say they have found one of the world’s earliest recognized images of Jesus. It’s engraved on a glass dish dating back toward 4th Century AD, reports from Spain say.

A heartless mother in New Bedford, Massachusetts gave birth to a baby boy, then put him in a box under the bed, hoping he would come back to life. Tamlyn Gonzalez, 22, said she gave birth to the infant boy and he got stuck in the birth canal. At the same time she said she saw the umbilical cord wrapped tightly around his neck. However, she did not admit to this when first questioned by police. Gonzalez lied several times to police and acted shocked and appalled that they found a dead baby under her porch.

It was after the dead baby began to leave a foul stench in the home, Gonzalez moved it outside under the staircase. It was when the grandmother complained of a foul stench, the box with the dead baby was found. She said she placed the baby she birthed alone at home in an old shoebox at first under her own bed and later under the staircase outside so that the baby could have “A chance to come back to life.” Apparently the 22-year-old baby killer his her pregnancy from everyone. It was confirmed that the baby did die from umbilical cord strangulation complications, but is undetermined whether the child may have survived if a doctor had been present.

Even though she did not physically kill the baby, it is her fault the baby died by not having a doctor present or having prenatal care. Even if the baby did survive, who knows what somebody in her mental condition would have done to that child. Obviously she was not excited about his arrival, as she hid the baby her entire pregnancy. Gonzalez has been officially taken into custody. She was put on probation monitoring, ordered to take prescription medications and mental health counseling. She was then released to an adult probation supervisor for continued checkups. Gonzalez faces 10 years in prison.

Strange and Mysterious Sound Heard From The Sky

Mysterious sounds have been heard booming from the sky all around the world – in some cases they were so loud they set off car alarms.The unsettling noises were heard recently from Europe to Canada, sounding like groans and powerful horns.In Germany noises coming from the sky were recorded on a video camera and uploaded to YouTube, with car alarms clearly heard going off in the background.

The internet has been buzzing with theories about what the sounds could be, with suggestions such as Jesus returning and the world ending put forward.



But experts have said that there are rational explanations.

University of Saskatchewan physics professor Jean-Pierre St. Maurice told CTV that it’s electromagnetic noise emitted from auroras and radiation belts.

Geoscientist David Deming from the University of Oklahoma, meanwhile, has previously written about a phenomenon called The Hum – ‘a mysterious and untraceable sound that is heard in certain locations around the world by two to ten per cent of the population’.

Writing in the Journal of Scientific Exploration, he said that sources of The Hum could include telephone transmissions and ‘aircraft operated by the U.S Navy for the purpose of submarine communications’.

According to NASA, the Earth has ‘natural radio emissions’.

The Agency said: ‘If humans had radio antennas instead of ears, we would hear a remarkable symphony of strange noises coming from our own planet. Scientists call them "tweeks," "whistlers" and "sferics."


'They sound like background music from a flamboyant science fiction film, but this is not science fiction. Earth's natural radio emissions are real and, although we're mostly unaware of them, they are around us all the time.’

For instance lightning can produce eerie-sounding radio emissions, Nasa added.

Earthquakes can also produce sub-audible sounds, according to seismologist Brian W Stump from the Southern Methodist University in Dallas.

The Real Life Sleeping Beauty Has Slept 64 Days

Seventeen-year-old Nicole Delien, dubbed the real-life "Sleeping Beauty," sleeps for up to 19 hours a day and once slept for 64 days straight. She has only been awake for Christmas three times since she was 7 years old. She may have earned the envy of insomniacs everywhere, but Delien is living more of a nightmare than a fairy tale.

Diagnosed with Kleine-Levin syndrome or KLS, the teen suffers from a rare disorder that affects a mere 1,000 people in the country. It is characterized by recurring periods of excessive sleep, which occur as "episodes," typically lasting from several days to a few weeks. The episodes can be punctuated with periods of disorientation, irritability and hallucinations. The state has been described as the delirium one feels when waking from anesthesia.

The onset of these bouts of sleep come abruptly. Delien says that she begins to feel tired, and then … sleep. She does not remember what happens during the episodes. As can be seen in the video below, she seems to be in a state somewhere in-between asleep and awake, much like the dreamy realm that sleepwalkers inhabit during their midnight perambulations.

The onset of the bizarre disorder occurred when Delien was 6.5 years old. According to the National Institutes of Health, the syndrome may be related to malfunction of the hypothalamus and thalamus, parts of the brain that govern appetite and sleep. The teen’s doctor suggests that the cause of the syndrome may somehow be triggered by illnesses or viruses.

Fortunately for the handful of miserable sleeping beauties in the world, the bad dream resolves itself; symptoms dissipate after eight years, on average, give or take six years. Good news for the teen? Indeed. Says Delien, “It’s not fun because you miss out on a lot.”

Pink Lake Hillier in Australia

Lake Hillier is a pink-colored lake on Middle Island, the largest of the islands and islets that make up the Recherche Archipelago, Western Australia. From above the lake appears a solid bubble gum pink. It is such a significant distinguishing feature of the archipelago that air passengers often crane their necks to take a glimpse of it.

The lake is about 600 meters long, and is surrounded by a rim of sand and a dense woodland of paperbark and eucalyptus trees. A narrow strip of sand dunes covered by vegetation separates it to the north from the Southern Ocean.

Unlike other pink lakes in the world like the one in Retba and the salt ponds at San Francisco Bay, the pink color of Lake Hillier has not been decisively proved, although it is speculated that the color could arise from a dye created by the organisms Dunaliella salina and Halobacteria. Another hypothesis is that the pink color is due to red halophilic bacteria in the salt crusts. That the color is not a trick of light can be proved by taking water from the lake in a container – the pink color can be found to be permanent.

One of the first evidence of Middle Island's pink lake dates back to the journals of Matthew Flinders, a British navigator and hydrographer in 1802. Flinders had climbed Middle Island's highest peak (now known as Flinders Peak) to survey the surrounding waters when he came across this remarkable pink lake. Except for a few years when salt extraction was being carried out here, the island and its pink lake has been almost untouched and has since then provide visitors with one of the most amazing view of the world's natural wonder.

As some might know- a lot of Cartoon characters are based on real-life people. However when such a bizarre character as Shrek is actually based on a real person- then we can not let that pass without writing about it!

Maurice Tillet was a French pro wrestler born in 1903. As a child he had a completely normal appearance and Tillet was nicknamed “The Angel” due to his angelic face. He was highly intelligent, allegedly speaking 14 languages and being quite gifted in prose and Chess. He finished law school but always aspired to be an actor. However, in his twenties Maurice developed acromegaly, a condition that made his bones grow uncontrollably large (the same disease that Andre the Giant suffered). It caused him to quit his career as a lawyer as he felt people would not accept his appearance in the courtroom. Now you must think- that must have put him down? Think again! He actually headed the exact opposite of down, by going to the United States and taking advantage of his condition.

He transformed himself into a pro wrestler called the “French Angel”. He soon became so popular that he was booked unstoppable, going undefeated for a span of 19 months. Tillet was arguably the biggest wrestling star during the early 1940′s. He was very famous in his time and not just among wrestling fans. He was the subject of numerous magazine features, and he always made the newspapers, often the front page, when he came into a town for a match. Due to this bizarre occurence of events he was also allowed to fulfill his biggest wish… to become a famous actor and starring in a number of succesful movies. In 1953 Mauric Tillet died, not from Acromegaly but from a heart disease. Just shortly before Maurice Tillet passed away Chicago sculptor Louis Linck befriended Tillet and made a series of plaster busts commemorating him for his wrestling career. One of the busts is in the Chicago’s International Museum of Surgical Science.

UFO Crashed in China

Objects that crashed to the ground in China have been identified as space debris, state media reported, after a Russian rocket carrying a communications satellite fell back to Earth minutes after lift-off.

Qiqihar city in the northeastern province of Heilongjiang, which borders Russia’s far east, reported that several objects appeared to have fallen from the sky on Friday, the Xinhua news agency said.
One of the parts is a metal dome with jagged, blackened edges.

Russia's workhorse Proton-M was carrying the $275-million Express AM4R satellite when it failed and burned up, destroying the telecommunications module intended to bring high-speed internet to remote parts of the country.

Friday's unmanned mission went awry when the engine on the third stage of the Proton-M booster rocket failed, Oleg Ostapenko, head of the Russian space agency Roskosmos, told Russian news agencies.

He said the precise cause was unknown.

The failure occurred at an altitude of 160 km (100 miles), about nine minutes after the early-morning lift-off from the Russian-leased Baikonur facility in Kazakhstan.

The state-run RIA quoted Ostapenko as saying that the rocket and all debris had burned up in the atmosphere: 'We can say with certainty that nothing reached Earth.'

However, Russian media said some debris may have fallen into the Pacific or been scattered over Siberia and Russia's Far East.

No casualties or damage were reported on the ground.

The lost Express AM4R satellite, worth more than 200 million euros ($275 million), was described by its maker Astrium, a unit of the European aerospace group Airbus, as one of the most powerful satellites built in Europe.

Its loss delays a number of commercial projects by three to four years.

'It's a heavy blow, of course. And the thing is that our workhorse rocket - our most powerful and the most-used rocket - has such a bad record,' Ivan Moiseyev, head of the Russian-based Institute of Space Policy think tank, told Kommersant-FM radio.

He said the rocket had a 7 percent failure rate, and its unreliability was making it harder for Russia to compete in the multibillion-dollar global satellite launch industry, giving a boost to its European rival Arianespace and the American newcomer SpaceX.

An 8 y/o Indian girl, Plays with King Cobras

This little charmer calls these King Cobras her best friends - even though she has survived three venom-filled bites from them.

Villagers in Ghatampur, Uttar Pradesh, India, run in fear when they see eight-year-old Kajol Khan wandering the dusty streets with her deadly friends wrapped around her neck.

She said: 'I have a lot of fun with the cobras. It hurts when they bite me but sometimes it’s my own fault because I tease them. It’s quite funny.'

Kajol's father, Taj Mohammad, 55, has worked as Ghatampur's snake catcher for the past 45 years. 

He has already passed on his skills to his son Gulab, 28. But now it seems Kajol, the youngest nine, is keen to join the family business.

'I don’t like school,' she said. 'I much prefer working with the snakes.' 

Her bond with the creatures - which stems from crawling around them as a baby - now means they are her favourite companions. 

Since her friendship with the killers began she has been bitten on her stomach, her cheeks and most recently her arm. She was seriously ill but made a full recovery.

'It hurts when they bite me but they don’t mean it,' she said. 'I get a little frightened when I see the blood but my father sorts me out. He rushes into the forest and comes back with the medicine.'
